College Ministry Internship in Naperville
Our church plant, Cross of Christ Fellowship, is looking for an intern to lead and pioneer our college ministry at North Central College.

College Ministry Internship at Cross of Christ Fellowship 
Cross of Christ Fellowship is looking for a college ministry intern to help us pioneer and launch a college outreach ministry at North Central College in downtown Naperville. We are looking for an individual eager to engage students with the gospel, and willing to disciple and equip students to share their faith.
The internship is a ‘hands on’ ministry assignment focused on reaching students at North Central College. Some of the tasks include: building relationships with students (one of the primary ways will be to attend a student group on campus called FOCUS, which meets on Wednesday nights at 9); sharing the gospel with students through outreach events (first week welcome to college care packs for freshmen [with invites to church and New Testament]); discipling students with the basics of the Christian Faith; launching new ministry initiatives (which may include a discussion group ministry geared toward engaging unbelievers and intro to Christianity courses).
The internship will provide an individual with valuable ministry experience in a gospel-centered church. While the internship is open to a motivated undergraduate student (Junior or Senior year), it is especially ideal for a graduate or divinity student preparing for vocational ministry. The training will include meeting regularly with someone from Cross of Christ Fellowship leadership team, an assigned reading list (theological, evangelistic, apologetic, and discipleship focused), and ‘hands on’ ministry experience through the local church.
General Requirements:
-Evangelical Christian committed to the authority of the Scriptures
-Agreement with Cross of Christ Fellowship Statement of Faith http://www.crossofchristfellowship.org/belief-statement/ (evangelical, Baptist)
-Membership at Cross of Christ Fellowship
Timeline:
-Apply for internship position (Spring of 2017)
-Begin training materials (Summer of 2017) [can be done at distant] and membership at Cross of Christ Fellowship
-Active ministry at North Central College (Fall of 2017-Spring 2018)
