Psalm 51

A prayer of repentance by David. When the prophet Nathan confronted him with his sin regarding Bathsheba, David didn’t offer any excuse. He immediately confessed and repented. That is the way it should be. Too often, we look for a way out by offering all sorts of excuses and alibis for things we did wrong. When we are wrong, let’s admit it , repent and learn from it. That is the only way we can grow. Lord, help me learn from the example of David.
