A Poem on God’s LOVE
A word about my God of love:
Before there was a world, you were love.
Caring and tender,
Dependable,
Everlasting love.
Full and forming all that it touches.
Gracious and glorious,
Heart melting and holy,
I sing of your love and enjoy it afresh each day.
Joy like no other,
Kindness of a Father,
Love of a Savior,
Multiplying wonders.
Never ending love,
Opening my eyes to the truth.
Please, fill me with your Holy Spirit.
Quickly pull me away from lesser loves,
Renew my mind and revive my heart.
Strengthen me through the knowledge of your love,
Teach me to love others.
Untangle my crooked love of self.
Very great is the love of God,
With my soul, I plead to know it again.
X’actly what I need for all eternity,
Your love is my delight.
Zealous love of my God and king.
